Hostel Fontana - Prague

Lovely location, close to castle, safe neighborhood, friendly staff, clean facilities.

Couldn't stay longer.

I was actually surprised by the cleanliness and affordability of the accommodations at Fontana. The lockers in the rooms provided peace of mind. the helpful receptionist gave me valuable information about the area and public transport options. The location in a quiet neighborhood with nearby food and drink options was a bonus. I would definitely recommend this hostel.

The location of this place was great, just a short walk to the main attractions and in a lovely, calm and safe neighborhood. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with any questions or concerns.

There were a few downsides to this hostel. the noise level was unbearable, as there was a bar right downstairs that kept me up all night.

We stayed at this hostel and were pleasantly surprised by how clean it was. The 8-bed dormitory we stayed in was comfortable and satisfied our needs. The location was also convenient, just a 3 minutes walk to Hradcanska metro station. We highly recommend visiting the bar Fontana downstairs as they serve excellent beers.

We loved the location of the hostel, it was conveniently close to the train station. the staff were incredibly helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. the accommodation was affordable and perfect for budget-conscious travelers. the surrounding area had great pubs and cafes, and it was a short metro ride to the city center. great value for money.

The atmosphere at this hostel was incredible, it felt like being part of a big family. the staff were friendly and welcoming, creating a lovely vibe. the hostel had plenty of well-maintained bathrooms and toilets, which was surprising for its size. the neighborhood was peaceful and clean, with amenities like grocery stores, bars, and restaurants easily accessible. I particularly enjoyed the bar located within the same building, offering great beer and delicious fried onion rings.

The beds were uncomfortable with thin mattresses that felt like sleeping on a park bench. the cleanliness of the bathrooms was also an issue, as they were only cleaned once a day and often lacked essential supplies like toilet paper and soap.

fontana was a delightful surprise in prague. exceeded expectations with comfy beds, welcoming staff, and convenient location near bars and transportation.

Basic hostel outside center, 15mins by public transport or 30 min walk. Small supermarket nearby, cheaper food and drink options. Helpful staff. Good price.

Friendly, helpful, and clean. I had a great stay at Hostel Fontana. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The hostel had a great atmosphere, and the common areas were always clean. The showers and toilets were well-maintained and had plenty of hot water. The 8-bed dorms were spacious and had enough space for everyone's belongings. Although there was no kitchen, the staff even went out of their way to provide me with some cheese and tuna for sandwiches. The only downsides were that the bed was not very comfortable and made a lot of noise when I moved, and the WiFi only worked in the front desk area which was a bit small and uncomfortable. But overall, I would definitely recommend this hostel for its friendly staff and cleanliness.
